  1. Where is Calypso – Cat Hotel?
    We are in Les Sables D’Olonne (85100) in the Vendée, France
  2. I don’t live in Les Sables d’Olonne. Can I still bring my cat to you?
    Yes, of course. We accept cats from all over the Vendée, and even beyond.
  3. How do I book a stay for my cat?
    Take a look at this page. The booking procedure is explained there.
  4. I found a stray cat. Can I bring it to you?
    Unfortunately we are unable to accept stray cats. But give us a ring, we may be able to point you in the right direction.
  5. Does my cat need immunisations?
    When you make a booking for your cat with Calypso, we will need to see the cat's immunisation records. We will check that your cat is up to date with the following immunisations:

    • Feline herpes virus
    • Feline calicivirus
    • Feline infectious enteritis
    • Feline leukaemia virus
  6. What else does my cat need?
    We will also need to see proof (at least 4 days old) of recent antiparasite treatment (fleas, tics and worms). Please bring proof of this.
    If your cat is older than six months during its stay with us, then it must be castrated or sterilised. Whatever your cat’s age, it must be identified with either a tattoo or electronic chip. We will also need contact details for somebody in case of emergency. Please download and complete this form and have it signed by the person concerned.
  7. How do I know if my cat will be happy staying with you?
    As a specialist in cat behaviour, we can assure you that your cat will be well looked after, spoilt and loved.
    We hold a Diploma in Cat and Dog Boarding Specialist in the European Union, in accordance with the European Directive 2005/36 / CE of the European Parliament and of the Council of the 7th September 2005 relating to the recognition of professional qualifications.
    In order to ease your anxieties, we can send photos of your cat via Whatsapp, allowing you to see how much fun your cat is having during its stay with us (available on computer, tablet or mobile phone - Android or iOS).
  8. I haven't received the email.
    It is possible that your email software has placed our email in your Spam folder. Please check that folder before contacting us.
